It was good to see Emilea fit right in and to be enjoying and embracing change. We love seeing her make friends and connections with these girls. It looked like it happened quickly. We had to say a few words about Emilea on the night but ended up not saying anything we had planned. But this is what we wanted to say
“Emilea has always been the strength of our family. When her dad left us she was my ‘right hand man’ I didn’t give her that role she choose to take that on. She is a caring, thoughtful young lady. With our new family I’ve been able to see it more and more as she steps down from ‘right hand man’ role to ‘big sister’ she loves all her brothers and sisters. She may never admit to any of them that she does, But it’s true. I see it as she takes Bethany under her wing, stands up for Katie, plays with Ben, laughs with Jake, comforts hyrum and brie.
I admire he persistence in learning new things. I’ve noticed this year with her first year of high school her stepping up and stepping forward in her new adventure. Learning new things and making new friends.
She had always had a love for her heavenly father. And has always strived lived her life accordingly. She had a very good understanding of the gospel and the scriptures.
We love you Emilea and proud with who you are becoming.
Love
Mum and dad.”
