So today for Family Home Evening we made cards. The kids did a great job and made some really nice ones.
The past week we have been focusing on mary and Joseph and baby Jesus and those who came to see them. Through their faith and love for the saviour they were able to witness him. Some of those were- Anna, shephards, wise man and Simeon. We have been reading to the children every night and reading some more and having a discussion in the mornings. It’s been really, really positive for them… and us.
I’m grateful for this new program the church has brought out this year. It’s be so uplifting and strengthening for our family. It keeps us all focus on the same thing. I know for me, because we talk about it so much it’s always in the front of my mind and I find myself thinking on it all often. Sean is really good at gathering the family and helping them understand what’s been read and asks really good questions. He really does have the ability to bring the spirit into our family.
