Last week our oldest child, Emilea got her Temple recommend! She was so nervous I was able to come in with her and sit to the side while she was interviewed. She did well, was honest which was good. The bishop challenged her to pray morning and night and to read the book of Mormon daily.
Because of all the changes that have happened in the church Emilea no longer has to wait till March to be in Young Women’s and to attend the temple. She is so excited about going and really getting into family search. She has her own account now. The other week she sat down with Sean for over 2 hours and set things up and found some names to take to the temple. Man, she was excited. She then lost all focus on what she was doing and couldn’t wait to get to the temple to get them baptized. We will be taking her next week.
I love seeing the spirit work with her. She has come so far in the past year. She has grown up so much. She still has a lot more growing up to do, but she’s getting there.
Love how she’s building relationships with the other children her and Beth together is beautiful.
